Conference presentation poster to promote the activities of the iTunes U team at the University of South Wales and the concept of ‘upcycling’ at the OER14 conference. OER14 is an international conference promoting the adoption, use and dissemination of Open Educational Resources. Upcycling is the process of taking existing online learning material and revising, updating and enhancing it for distribution in new formats to new and wider audiences. The example shown in the poster describes how selected content from a closed Virtual Learning Environment was first republished as animations on iTunes U. The entire module is currently being upcycled into an iBook and iTunes U Course.
